I restarted numerous times. I turned extensions off, no difference. I
un-installed Norton and it didn't help. Can you tell me how to delete the
configuration files the technical instructions talk about? I think they are
referring to files in Dreamweaver 8. I am using MX 2004 & I can't find the
files they refer to (yes, I turned on the option to see hidden files).

I am at the point where I think I must un-install Dreamweaver and re-install
it. What will I lose if I do that?

Can you find the directory I mentioned in my last post?

Yes, thank you. l didn't see the first part of your previous post. It seems to be working fine now. What causes it to get corrupted that way?
