With my system "idle", the processes tab of Task Manager shows System Idle
Process as using 95%-99% of the CPU time. Most of the rest is used by
Taskmgr.exe itself.

Yet, the Performance tab is showing approx. 50%utilization of each of the
two CPU's. Since the CPU's are always doing something, I assumed that the
percentage shown in the graphs was that not being used by the System Idle
process. Apparently that is wrong?

Can anyone explain what the graphs are showing so much CPU utilization
while the Idle processis shown as consuming >95% of the CPU time?
