In the Tcl-URL! for Sep 10, there is a reference to tkpath:

tkpath now has [surface]:

Interestingly enough, the Tcl-URL! I see in my mailbox from Sept 10 is
different from the one posted here on the newsgroup.
The one in my mailbox begins like this. One or the other may have been
mis-posted...

QOTW: "Basically the stubs/starkit thing is the Tcl way to do the
same thing
OS X Frameworks and App Bundles do in a cross platform way." - Michael

"I've had odd experiences with native dialogue[s] on Windows, and it

Well, *should* Linux distributions have Tcl threads enabled? It's
far from an easy question: understand, for example, that thread-
enablement generally *decreases* performance:

Please be aware that conscientious effort has the potential to
affect
real distributions.

Thanks Larry,
you saved my day - I don't imagine mysterious things on clt.
So apparently I saw the Tcl-URL you received per mail here on clt and
coming back later I - like everybody else right now - see a different
one.
Best regards
Helmut Giese
