From: akkrug on 29 Mar 2010 13:02 I set up a new template which has a couple of macros in it that I would like to base some new forms on. I saved the new template to c:\documents and settings\kkrug\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\320648.dot, but it isn't showing up as a choice when I do file new from template. We are running Windows XP and have Word 2000. Any idea what I might be doing wrong. Eventually I would like to use the new template on other pc's. Thanks for the help! Ken K. -- akkrug
From: Terry Farrell on 29 Mar 2010 15:11 That's probably because it isn't the correct template folder. Only templates in the designated template folder will show up. Go to Tools, Options, File Locations tab and find out the appropriate location for templates on your computer. Then move the template to that folder using Explorer. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "akkrug" <kenneth.krug(a)uticanational.com> wrote in message news:CFF0AD32-0BC6-49B6-9315-806675E25DC7(a)microsoft.com... > I set up a new template which has a couple of macros in it that I would > like > to base some new forms on.
