From: Rags on 21 May 2007 05:40 Hi, I am getting this error. I followed some advices like removing files from mechinekeys folder and reinstalled iis and rebooted the system. Again same, IIS Admin will not start. Event log errors as below The WebClient service failed to start due to the following error: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process. The dsniff service failed to start due to the following error:The system cannot find the file specified. The IIS Admin service terminated with service-specific error 2148073487 (0x8009000F). 7024 The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service depends on the IIS Admin service which failed to start because of the following error: The service has returned a service-specific error code. 7001 The World Wide Web Publishing service depends on the IIS Admin service which failed to start because of the following error: The service has returned a service-specific error code. Could anyone help me out in this.
