From: adacrypt on 12 Mar 2010 03:17 The Status Quo. Not quite a black hole but lets just call it a huge sink of complexity where people vie with each other to make an even bigger contribution of wasted intelligence. It is fashionable then to pipe their knowledge of special fragments of particular complexity as their passport to recognition within the herd on the back of this counterfeit cryptography. Pushing against an open door that leads to nowhere is a fair comparison. But you see its a place in the herd that counts. There are over half a million postings to date (in the current slew since the counter was last zeroed) on sci crypt, that all say the same thing i.e. there must be something wrong with the maxim in mathematics that if a problem has ongoing difficulty then theres some thing wrong with your methods. But the moth is so hypnotized by the light bulb that it cannot stop circling. Decoded, I am saying it is time to kick the status quo into touch and come up with some new original crypto design thoughts instead of spouting different permutations of the same mistake handed down to you by Uncle Sam. You can do it ! Have a nice day - adacrypt |
