I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 on Orange and it is pretty rubbish really and I end up using my 6310i on Vodafone more often than I can use the BB. Home, in Tesco, indoors at work - terrible. Seems that when the signal is 1 or 2 bars the internet is so so slow its unusable. On that note I'm still looking to offload my Orange BB SIM as mentioned in another post a few weeks ago. 600mins, 500 texts, 500Mb internet + BlackBerry which is £20.50/month with a year left on the 18-month contract. I'll offer £100 for someone to take it making it just over £12/month for the year. Anyone...please!

Their customer service and tariffs are > excellent. When have the tariffs on Vodafone been excellent? Quite the contrary I'd say. They are definitely the worst for tariffs of all the UK networks. Try checking out some of the deals on O2 and '3' and then compare them to Vodafone. I'd put Vodafone at the bottom and Orange just above. Vodafone seem to look for ways to fleece customers and catch them unawares with strange conditions or moving of goal posts. I'd hate to be on Vodafone. It is the one company I would definitely avoid. Coverage is a different story of course. -- Please remove 'no_spam_' from email address. SAVE THE BBC Sign petition http://www.avaaz.org/en/save_the_bbc/

On my contract they gave me the most rubbish phone around, Nokia 2630. So I went and bought an unlocked phone from CPW and use that. CPW: Guaranteed unlocked. Can put my foreign SIM in when abroad etc. > 3G data speeds = terrible, and sometimes unusable This is my biggest gripe. Used to be fine, but now is virtually unusable. Different handsets, SIMs, always the same. Lucky to get a page to load before handset times out. Are Orange CS interested? Nope! I now have to carry another phone for data. On T-Mob. Data is fine, but coverage... T-Mob's coverage does make Orange look brilliant! I'll add another. You can't text some foreign networks. When my son who lives abroad changed his network, I found I could no longer text him. Voda, O2, T-mob all worked fine, but not Orange. Got Orange to investigate and they came back that they have no agreement with that particular network and so texts can't be sent. Brilliant! The person I text the most, I no longer can. So, how do I get round this problem, I asked. "Move to Voda or O2!!!" replied the Orange CS guy!
