From: Birk Andreas on 23 Jul 2010 03:30 I have the same problem when I try to install the parallel computing toolbox. I had previously installed MATLAB 2010a (64 bit). I use Windows 7 (64 bit). This installer appears to be far to choosy! Why it doesn't simply do what it is supposed to do?

It does ... and when it runs into a problem that it doesn't know how to handle, it throws an error. I recommend you contact Technical Support for assistance with this installation issue. They can determine what's causing this problem and how to resolve it, and perhaps with that information they can improve the Installer to better handle that situation in the future. -- Steve Lord slord(a)mathworks.com comp.soft-sys.matlab (CSSM) FAQ: http://matlabwiki.mathworks.com/MATLAB_FAQ To contact Technical Support use the Contact Us link on http://www.mathworks.com
