I noticed recently that some files I thought were backed up couldn't be
restored from Time Machine.

To test this I created a text document and put it in a folder, chose
'Back Up Now' from the Time Machine menu. Then I deleted the file and
went back into Time Machine to restore, but it wasn't there.

The strange thing is that other new files that I've copied or created
recently are there in the backup. Time Machine isn't giving any error
messages.

Any ideas?
