I'm one of those that would like to have explicit control as to when
Time Machine backups occur, in my case every hour on the hour, and
TimeMachineEditor allows me do exactly that. One can get the details
of this fantastic (free) application and download at

Whether it does anything else or not, if it does what it claims
(and it probably does), I have no doubt that it merely sets
properties in a plist that you could do yourself--if willing
to use the comand line.

No offense intended for those (like myself) that prefer
a well-done GUI to command line.

Speaking for myself, I don't mind editing a plist directly, but
sometimes it's tricky to figure out precisely what to set, and what to
set it to (and to remember all that a year later when I want to change
it again). If somebody's already done that...

Very funny! Except after I looked at your Google result, I had to Google it
myself because, for some reason, your Google result was in some language
vaguely like English, but totally indestinguishable to a middle aged white
guy!
