From: Me, ...again! on 16 Jun 2010 22:44 Earlier this evening I went to that URL you gave below, did a copy to my HD and will have a more detailed look later. Its a translation of a quite old paper (1918), which seems early in the overall "debating" that had gone on for decades (or whatever). I did skim over it once, but need to just read slowly once and get the gist. I think I'll look at that Einstein book (maybe it is a reprint of much earlier work, and less worth it to me because of that), but I'd wish more for a fairly good, recent overview _review_ paper or chapter that covers the scrutiny that E/R got over all the decades, including the experimental work and experiment design. ////////////////////// On Tue, 15 Jun 2010, paparios(a)gmail.com wrote: > On 15 jun, 17:29, "Me, ...again!" <arthu...(a)mv.com> wrote: >> On Tue, 15 Jun 2010, papar...(a)gmail.com wrote: > >> >>>> XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX >> >>>> Dialog About Objections Against the Theory of Relativity >>>> by Albert Einstein (Paperback - Nov. 12, 2009) >> >>>> XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX >> >>> What makes you think that book is a "doubter" book? Going to be busy for several hours now with higher priority stuff. Thanks. |
