Which block are you using in SimPowerSystems? The Asynchronous machine SI? Make sure that the torque you feed to the block is the right sign and in Nm, otherwise you'll get a generator instead of a motor or vice versa. Similarly, make sure that it's in rad/s. Note that the mechanical part of the model of the machine is ignored (inertia J), since the speed is imposed and you can only measure the electromagnetic torque, not the shaft mechanical torque.
