If yes, pull it out and see if the message disappears. Next to try is pulling out other things like RAM, hard drive, CD/DVD drive, etc. If you are lucky, one of these devices is causing the problem. If the machine has any "legacy devices" like serial, parallel port, IR device - that you don't use - try disabling them. Is there an option in the BIOS to tinker with IRQ assignment for "PCI" devices ? (These options may alternatively be available in a software config program). |
