Hello,
I'm new to access and have a question regarding the footer. I created a text
box and inserted a basic equation for the the total cost of the order, =Sum(
[UnitPrice]*[Quantity]), however it is not appearing on the form. The
visibility property on the footer is set to Yes.

Please let me know what I am missing -

Thanks -

This should work on the Form Footer, but will not work on a Page Footer.

I got it to work by using a Continuous Form. Is this feature available on the
other form types? Just curious because this type will work. I was using a
Datasheet Form.

Thanks -

That's one of the many limitations of Datasheets: no header, no footer. A
Single Form has both (but a total could be confusing since you'ld see only one
record).
