From: Edges on 4 May 2010 12:34 In Word 2007 how can I turn track changes off so that it's off once and for all? I turned it off, saved and closed the document just to find track changes on when I reopen the document.
From: Stefan Blom on 4 May 2010 13:08 On the Review tab, click Accept | Accept All Changes in Document. Then click Track Changes | Track Changes (or press Ctrl+Shift+E) to turn off the feature. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP (Message posted via NNTP) "Edges" <Edges(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:233EA650-42E4-4CF7-BD05-8B3F5DB97343(a)microsoft.com... > In Word 2007 how can I turn track changes off so that it's off once and for > all? From: Stefan Blom on 4 May 2010 14:04 It seems as if the document isn't getting saved. After you've turned off track changes, modify the document, for example by adding text and deleting it, and then save. Does that make a difference? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP (Message posted via NNTP) "Edges" <Edges(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:68927EAB-683C-4031-9FC9-5C428D666A22(a)microsoft.com... >I did Accept all changes in document, turned track changes OFF, saved and > closed the document.
