I do not have a copy of the financial toolbox. This has functions such as: busdate, holidays, nyseclosures etc.

I need to write my own version of this, and have a few questions:

1. Has anyone got any code like this pre-written that i could use: can't seem to find any on google.

2. could just create a vector of dates and then remove sat and sun using weekday.m. However, this is very clearly wrong as it includes all bank holidays etc.

3. The clearly leading point from above is that any series of busines days will be country specific. thoughts?

4. Has anyone used createholidays which interfaces with financialcalandar.com?
