In the last couple of weeks I've been getting MEX files in outgoing emails removed. Our IT people claim that

"I also found a virus has been used with this file extension .mexw32"

Anyone else been bitten by this? Or does anyone have any stories of MEX files being used to spread malicious contents? It kind of makes my job a bit more cumbersome.
