Ran free version of BitDefender yesterday an it found 2 infections: C:\System Volume Information \_restore{106CF321-99A3-4E3A-9103-1BD027606A99}\RP854\A0143387.icd Infected with: Gen:Trojan.Heur.3z0@@J8QMSj C:\System Volume Information \_restore{106CF321-99A3-4E3A-9103-1BD027606A99}\RP885\A0146392.icd Infected with: Gen:Trojan.Heur.4z0@@pLYS6b The free version does not delete infections. 1. Can I delete them manually.....? 2. What files do I need to delete.....? 3. Can someone guide me step by step how to do it ....... ? Thanks.

They will have manual removal instructions. There is no rule of thumb for these things; each one is specific. HTH, Twayne`
From: boy on 27 Mar 2010 23:34 Thank you Twayne, Symantec did not help, bur BitDefender's discussion group suggested deleting all restore checkpoints. C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore It worked. Now I am clean.
