From: CSK on 3 May 2010 22:10 Have a new Dell computer loaded with Windows 7. Tried installing Office 2007 Pro; went all night and hardly moved. Tried again with same results. Third time it would not even recognize CD. Downloaded a trial version from the Microsoft website, and tried to convert with the product key. Message said invalid product key. Just tried loading on my wife's ThinkPad with Windows XP Pro; loaded about half way, then got this message: Setup cannot find ProPlus, WW\ProPlsWW.cab Browse to a valid installation source, and then click ok. Did not know what to do, and ended up cancelling. Any help would be appreciated. -- Thanks, CSK

As you have had so many failed installations you may want to run the Office installer cleanup utility first. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Purchased from ebay. Came completely sealed, with intact certificate of authenticity. All labels say that it is Office Professional 2007, not Pro Plus, including those on the disk. Any insights? -- Thanks, CSK "Peter Foldes" wrote: > Where did you get the Pro Plus version of Office from? > > -- > Peter > > Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others > Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. > http://www.microsoft.com/protect > > "CSK" <CSK(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:A94C1AB9-B071-4AB8-B8E4-DD9A84372086(a)microsoft.com... > > Have a new Dell computer loaded with Windows 7.
