From: Mark S Bilk on 4 Jan 2010 11:40 Happy New Year, all! I took the plunge and am running KDE4.3.4 under OpenSUSE 11.2. Two problems: 1. The desktop names in the pager are very hard to read because of a thin font on a gray background that also shows a darker gray rectangle in the relative position of the selected window in that desktop. A plain white background would be much better, also font selection. 2. The taskbar does not distinguish in color between windows that are minimized and those that are visible but don't have the focus. Unlike in KDE 3.5, all the taskbar entries are the same shade except the window with the focus, whose entry is darker. Changing the theme doesn't help with either of these problems. The pager and the taskbar are in two separate panels, since I have a lot of desktops and windows. Otherwise it's working pretty well. The "Bookmark All Tabs" menu option in Firefox 3.5.6 is grayed-out and so doesn't work, but I can always go back to 3.0.15 or whatever.

On Tuesday 05 Jan 2010 22:46, while playing with a tin of spray paint, Paul Thompson painted this mural: > I'd like to be able to get a Konsole history file? Which history? The commands you've entered, which you'll find as ~/.bash_history , or the output from those commands? That one you can save using the menu option Scrollback -> Save Output . I suppose it would be nice if you could specify a file to write a continue log to, but that doesn't appear to be supported with either the present version, nor by the version from KDE3[0]. [0] A quick check with the KDE3 version of konsole is also able to save the history, but doesn't appear to be able to display it on the screen and simultaneously pipe it to a file.
