From: Tree on 30 Mar 2010 11:16 We receive an unreadable content error in our Excel (happens on both computers) spreadsheet. This was a 2003 file that we have converted to 2007 and has an extension of xlsm. Excel stripped the entire workbook of all formats (it called it repair-which is much better I'm sure than what used to happen in 2003 which was the file would not open at all), but seems to have kept the formulas intact. I've read alot of material here on the forums and think this stems from a 2003 issue - but I've not really found any real solutions. We are redoing some of the formats on some of the tabs, but the worksheet is very complicated and redoing the sheet from scratch is a shudderable option. We certainly appreciate any assistance from this wonderful forum. Thank you in advance.
