(File - Properties - MediaInfo tab). I use the heck out of this one. It provides info about some media files when GSpot won't. -- John Corliss BS206. Because of all the Googlespam, I block all posts sent through Google Groups. I also block as many posts from anonymous remailers (for example, usenet4all.se, x-privat.org, dizum.com, tioat.net, frell.theremailer.net) as possible due to forgeries posted through them. No ad, CD, commercial, cripple, demo, nag, share, spy, time-limited, trial or web wares OR warez for me, please.

Don't download the installer but get the 7z archive, and only the DLL if you use MediaInfo as an MPC-HC add-on. Trying new software? A little advice: 1. Get a portable build or at least a zip/7z package, whenever an author (or reliable third party) offers that alternative. 2. Check the contents of an install package with Universal Extractor. ( http://www.legroom.net/software/uniextract ) 3. Look and think before clicking on OK/Yes/Next when installing software and uncheck what you don't want. 4. Monitor registry and file system changes when installing software and/or during a first run. 5. Don't let an installer phone home, unless it has to download essential components from a reliable source. 6. Don't let an application phone home if it's not necessary for the program to work.
