Can you give me some > guidance where to look please. TIA. Vodafone continued to fail to give any clue other than to say that the N86 had never been directly provided by them. In the circumstances I assumed they are no longer likely to be looking at allowing updates. Used NSS to change code to 0566656 and NSU to update. No problems at all. I used a PC with XP. My Windows 7 machine loses connection between anything Nokia and the phone on a regular basis.
