Vodafone continued to fail to give any clue other than to say that the
N86 had never been directly provided by them.
In the circumstances I assumed they are no longer likely to be looking
at allowing updates. Used NSS to change code to 0566656 and NSU to
update. No problems at all. I used a PC with XP. My Windows 7 machine
loses connection between anything Nokia and the phone on a regular basis.
