From: Herb Tyson [MVP] on 22 Apr 2010 09:54 If it's only 17th (and not 18th, 3rd, etc.), the easiest and most direct way to get it consistent is: 1. Press Ctrl+H. 2. In Find what:, type th. Press Ctrl+Shift+= (on top row). This should add Format: Superscript under the th. This tells Word to search only for superscripted "th". 3. In Replace with:, type th. Press Ctrl+Shift+= until Format: says "Not superscript/Subscript". 4.
