I need a replacement for the space bar tapping that used to suffice in another program. -- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-borowitz/fine-print-in-health-care_b_505797.html NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship Selection Show Sunday, March 21 at 11:30 a.m. ET Live on ESPN2 HD

E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM filter. Due to Google's refusal to prevent spammers from posting messages through their servers, I often ignore posts from Google Groups. Use a real news client if you want me to see your posts. JR

The space bar will work the way you want it to if you choose to read the messages in overview view rather than thread view. This option will pop up on the right side of the screen when you click on a thread that has more than one message. When you utilize the overview option, the messages are still threaded and the space bar will page you through long messages and go to the next unread message if the cursor emphasis is in the message list pane. It will not, however, skip you to the next unread group. That I wish it would do. -- Paul Goodman

This is with about half the lower part of the pain for the message. I hit the space bar and it moves through that message, and on to the next post, and the next. -- -- Beware the delicate, tiny, very talented celebrity starlets.
