From: Pictor on 8 Jun 2007 06:27 Hi, Do you know which update I need to install to solve the problem with Internet Explorer and certains XML declaration in an HTML page? The error is: Error 0xC00CE50A - The character '>' was expected On my Windows 2000 with SP4 my HTML page works perfectly. Instead, on a Windows XP pc, it show that error. So I think it's a problem of a missing patch. I looked for it on support.microsoft.com but I found nothing. Could you help me to know what I need to download? (or if it's only a configuration problem) Even the relative Microsoft KB would be enough. Thank You a lot! Pictor

Not necessarily. Do you have IE7 installed? It tightens up parsing according to standards, so whatever your symptom is might be due to that too. > > I looked for it on support.microsoft.com but I found nothing. > > Could you help me to know what I need to download?
