Hi Dan,

Thanks for updating.

To troubleshoot the error "The memory could not be "read",we need to debug
here. Due to the technical limit in our public newsgroup, we cannot provide
debug service and only can give you general information about the issue. To
find the root cause, please call CSS for more help. Thanks for your
understanding.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Robert Li(MSFT)

From: HighTechGeek on
I have the same issue.

It's a new Dell Server with Windows Server Small Business Server 2003
R2 with nothing on it yet other than the OS and updates.

I get a pop-up window appearing several times:

Title: Micorosft.SBS.UpdateServices.SyncSecurity.exe - Application
Error
Body: The instruction at "0x7c82caa2" referenced memory at
"0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Dan Miller
