From: peglegjim08 on 29 Nov 2009 11:54 I am also having trouble installing KB973704. My computer is set to receive automatic updates and has worked fine previously. The notification icon for new updates appears in the icon tray but the update will not install. An error message staes: "The detection failed. The installation database may be corrupted". I have tried installing manually from the update website to no avail.??? "Kipper" wrote: > Thanks guys - it worked a treat.
