All potential candidates for this role must be local to the Chicagoland area, no re-location will be provided. Sadly, the client will not accept an H1-B for this opportunity, nor will we work with a consulting firm to fill this role. DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) FSLC design and development of web based applications in C# and .NET in this complex, state of the art, e-commerce environment; (2) Providing seasoned C# and .NET design and development mentoring to less experienced development staff; (3) Providing seasoned application support and troubleshooting experience to the global development team; (4) Working with off shore development staff as needed; (5) Heavy client and end interaction to executive level; (6) Ongoing development and support of all web based applications . REQUIRED: MUST have a Computer Science undergraduate degree, or similar technical undergraduate degree. This is NOT a flexible requirement. MUST have at least 3 years of corporate IT programming (design and development) experience and STRONG/CURRENT experience with OOP concepts and SDLC techniques and tools. Design and development experience needs to be in a team development environment. MUST have at least 2 years of .NET and C# FSLC design and development of web based applications. MUST have STRONG/CURRENT MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 and TSQL experience. MUST have STRONG/CURRENT HTML, IIS, Ajax, VBScript, JavaScript. MUST have strong proficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio). MUST have EXCELLENT communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Pluses: VB 6.0/COM; Classic ASP; ASP.NET; XML; Web Services.
