Urgent job opening for C#.NET/Sybase Application Programmer in NYC

Our Investment Banking client is currently looking for C#.Net
Application Programmer/Coder with Financial/Banking/Trading industry
experience.

Ideal candidate must have 8-10 years of IT experience.
2+ years of commercial software development
Must have 5- 7 years of C#.net coding or application building
experience.
Practical experience building C# based applications is a must. PREFER
SERVER SIDE EXPERIENCE, NOT USER INTERFACES.
Must have 5+ years of Sybase Database experience. Must know database
DDL and DML
Must have 5+ years of SQL Database experience.
Must have Financial/Banking/Trading/Fixed Income Experience.
Nice to have experience with dealing with equity/derivative products
and commodities related products.

* Demonstrable expertise in the .NET platform and C# language - will
be expected to efficiently solve real-world challenges in
applying .NET in a Global Solution under high load (Memory, CPU,
Threading, managed/unmanaged layers, etc).

* Main focus is development but expect ability to help deploy robustly
and diagnose production issues.

* Solid design and architecture skills including Object Oriented
Design and Multi-tier messaging frameworks.

* Ability to code with high quality and deliver software on time.

*After initial phone interview client will require face to face
interview in NYC.
