Have you tried <http://www.vonnieda.org/software/avrfuses> ? Works
perfectly with both AVRISPmkI and mkII.

Thanks, but it's too late. For now I'm a satifisfied Windows user, at
least for this one application. A successful simultaneous installation
of both new hardware and new software (on a PC, no less!) is a rare
and beautiful thing.

This is because of TI FET driver dll, not IAR or Rowley..... There are
some fixes from TI for this.
