From: MontanaSooner on 28 Apr 2010 15:00 I have began using Flip video cameras in the middle school classes I teach. We have been using Pazera software to convert Flip's MPG4 files to MPG1 so that we can import them into Windows Movie Maker. A previous class was able to convert the files and import them without any problem. My class now is able to convert them but when we try to import them we get this error message: "An interface has too many methods to fire events from" I myself was able to convert the files previously, and unable to convert them last Friday. Today I am able to convert them and then import them into Movie Maker. Do you have any suggestions? Another MPG4 to MPG1 file converter that I might try? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help. ======================================= Maybe the following article would be worth a look: Movie Maker and Flip Digital Camcorders http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-CamcordersFlip.html And the following freeware may be worth a try for converting the files to the .wmv format. (FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System Restore point before installing software or updates) Format Factory http://www.pcfreetime.com/ (FWIW...when installing...you may want to uncheck 'all' of the boxes on the final screen) After downloading and installing Format Factory... open the program and choose an Output Folder... (this is where you will find your files after they are converted) Drag/drop your video clips onto the main screen... Select 'All to WMV' / OK... Click...Start...on the toolbar... That should do it...
