I have a hardened Windows XP OS,and i have,for the last three months
experimented with using two firewalls to layer each other. They run at
the same time. I use Comodo Firewall and at the same time,i use Zone
Alarm. Try it. My experience is that I catch a lot more problems with
two firewalls than with one only.. I turned off the Windows XP Service
Pack Two firewall for this experiment. for three months--smooth
sailing.
