I'd like to use the horizontal zoom cursor to select a data range in a graph without actually zooming. Anyone have a clue how I might do this?

In addition, if I could do it without the initial zoom cursor (mag glass) that'd be greatly preferred.

it is not getting clear to me.
Do you want to use DRAGRECT or RBBOX to select a region from a plot?
