Actually, I think she quit. Never asked, because not really my business. She
was working for MS in Oregon or Washington for a few years, then moved back
to AZ around 01 or 02.

I knew a lot of folks in CSS (used to be called PSS then) who had their
lives up-ended when MSFT sent most support to India.
