From: Rarb on 28 Feb 2007 09:24 We have two DL380's (One a G3 and one a G4) and after a recent power outage, when they powered back up, both are reporting the following: "VDS fails to claim a disk (\\?\scsi#disk&ven_hp&prod_logical_volume&rev_2.68#6&209bcdd9&0&050#{53f56307-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b}) due to error. Error Code: 8007042A(a)0200002E" When viewing Disk Management, we can now only see the CD drive and a disk array on a separate SCSI controller, which makes me suspect the Smart Array 6i controller as being affected on both machines. The main problem this is causing, is that W2K3 will now not see the pagefile, and complains that there is not one setup or it is too small when you restart the server. I read on eventid.net that there was possibly a microsoft patch ro resolve the problem, but so far have been unable to find any reference to it. Any help would be most appreciated.
