I've the same error: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. What i'm missing? Ciao Alessandro

In general there should be no issue operating it from a stick other than performance would probably really suck. USB is quite slow compared to a real drive. From: Alessandro Antonangeli on 16 Nov 2009 04:25 What i'm really doing is to put everything on a virtual machine. The paths are the same than the original one. I copied the cavo and project dir on my old pc (where there were vo 2.7/6 etc and it works. I did try on new pc and it does not. So there must be something else, but what? From: Alessandro Antonangeli on 16 Nov 2009 05:54 I did reinstalled VO, because I think that the problem is the presence on the machine of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable. If in the machine is present, may be (didn't tested) it works, if not it doesnt. May be the corporate box do not have it installed. Jack, could you check?
