I tried to do a "vssadmin list volumes" and got: T"he shadow copy provider had an unexpected error while trying to process the specified command" It appears that the VSS service is confused by the new larger partitions, I used Acronis true image on one drive and then used the RAID setup utility to rebuild the array on 2 new drives. Is there a way to reset all of the VSS info so that the server can do VSS backups. Thanks for any insight.

From: Jan on 23 Jan 2008 20:07 You have scheduled snapshots to be taken of volumes that no longer exist. 1. Disable shadow copy on disks 2. Delete scheduled jobs 3.Re-enable shadow copy on data disk (SBS default scheduled task will be automatically created) errors should stop -- Jan Wakulicz www.micropol.com.au <matt.hadlock(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:a04f5119-3d76-4e8d-99fa-21db63d87cf6(a)e10g2000prf.googlegroups.com... > Hello I am getting the following errors in the event log after cloning > the servers disk to a new larger disk.
