Hi,

i am looking for some free/open source Virtual LPT/Parallel Port
Emulator. I did a search in www but couldnt find anything useful
so far. Does someone know such a software that can create a virtual
LPT Port on a Windows System from where i can read/and write data
to and from. Best would be some Software that could also do a
Connection between two virtual ports for data exchange. The point
here is that i would like to do a series of tests with some software i
wrote.

There are many serial port emulators but i could not find any LPT
emulators for free,...

The VMware player :) A lot of free emulators, great for testing.
