From: Bill Grant on 18 Nov 2009 19:31 The whole point of a virtual machine is that it is independent of the host on which it runs. The "machine" is a software construct. It has its own emulated hardware, which does not change when you change hosts. No - all software virtualisation solutions work the same way i.e. by hardware emulation. > Or any other way to do it..? Not with virtualisation. If you absolutely must have more than one operating system using the same physical hardware, you'll need to go for a multi-boot solution. Of course, you can then run only one of the installed OS at any one time... -- Mark Rae ASP.NET MVP http://www.markrae.net |
