From: GrandpaG on 15 Apr 2010 05:17 After updates were done at shutdown today, and I restarted my PC, I was offered - Security Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB978601) Security Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB979309). Upon manually initiating the updates, they failed and clicking on the error message was a waste of time. I can see that the KB978601 update has already been installed during the earlier shutdown. Is that the reason for the problem? Should I tell WU to install the KB979309 update?
