The keys to this position are having in depth experience in - networking device drivers (wireless a plus) and kernel development - Strong understanding of OS kernel internals especially Linux/Unix - Familiarity with hardware debugging background The main responsibilities for this position are: * Design, develop and maintain Wireless LAN device driver software and related protocols * Support software releases during test and release cycles Qualifications The person in this role should have the following capabilities and qualifications: Technical * BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field * 4 to 6 years or more of applicable work experience * Experience with Wireless LAN is a plus * Experience with networking device drivers and kernel development * Experience with embedded platform development such as boot loaders and BSP * Knowledge of multi-threading and synchronization in a driver environment * Strong understanding of OS kernel internals especially Linux/Unix * Familiarity with hardware debugging * Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts * Product architecture, design, implementation and testing experience * Experience with OS tools and scripts such as makefiles, PERL, shell scripts * Experience with full software life cycle and delivery mechanisms Non Technical * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Self motivated and quick learner * Good team player Please send us your updated resume to be considered for this position.
