From: innosanctum on 6 Feb 2009 11:47 Thanks a lot, I had this problem and I have solved it by turning off the ECC in BIOS. Sure, it's not the solution, but the 106 error stopped. I don't know whether it is a CPU problems, or the malfunction of RAM controller. But the event id 106 indicated, that memory controller have corrected the error in RAM.
