From: beeman on 21 Feb 2010 06:10 Has anyone found a solution to opening wmv files in OE-6. My associations are set and I can open them from my hard drive but I can't in OE6.
From: Bruce Hagen on 21 Feb 2010 10:14 Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose Program. Select Windows Media Player and then check the box: Always use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open these attachments in the future. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "beeman" <anon(a)anon.com> wrote in message news:uOpBSausKHA.5940(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Has anyone found a solution to opening wmv files in OE-6. From: beeman on 21 Feb 2010 16:54 I tried that as suggested in a previous post. WMV files will open from the HD but not from OE-6 "Bruce Hagen" <BRH(a)nospam.invalid> wrote in message news:%23yqXPiwsKHA.5936(a)TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Save the attachment to your HDD. From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 22 Feb 2010 13:57 Are these WMV files attachments or embedded in an HTML message? If the latter, are you creating these messages and then sending them to yourself as a test? beeman wrote: > I tried that as suggested in a previous post.
