What is wrong with the old keyboard, they are usually pretty rugged? Be
aware that the mainboard backup battery is very prone to leaking and many an
A2000 has died due to mainboard corrosion or partial failure due to acid
damage and I would advise you to remove it since it's doesn't affect the
operation of the A2000 with the exception that you would need to set the
time and date from the CLI after powerup (only if you use programs that are
time/date critical).

I have one but it's unhoused and used with my A1000, and I have an and
couple of prototype IDE interfaces for an A500 that I designed and built
many moons ago but they're not for sale.

They appear on Ebay from time to time but I wouldn't bother with an A2000
and would instead look for an A3000, A4000 or A1200 but I guess that would
depend on what you intend to do with it. Also consider WinUAE, the Amiga
emulator which is very good these days if you have a very fast PC and is a
free download (I can help you with the kickstart ROM image if you need it).

Aros is a rewrite of AmigaOS for x86 processors and is getting quite useful.
