I stumbled on your group awhile ago searching for Mathematica related goodies.
I really wish something like this was available close to home...

1. How many regular members do you have?
2. Typical attendance?
3. Do regular members pay fees to belong?
4. Is there anyway you'd consider using Adobe Connect to broadcast the
meetings live? Or maybe, as an easier alternative, you could
standardize a system for presenters to video screen-capture their
presentations and then post them on the net.

If you're interested, I have some web space available and would also
be willing to re-compress and package the raw video in Microsoft
Silverlight. I started using Expression Studio (encodes Silverlight)
last semester to process lectures from my tablet pc. Also experimented
with students grading their own quizzes, along with quizzes of a few
other randomly selected students, as they watched a video of me
working through the answer key and grading rubric. I would have used
Adobe Connect for the class, as it's worked well in the past, but our
campus' Connect server wasn't keeping up with demand. If they've
upgraded it, that may be another option.

For a simple example of the Silverlight packaging, here is a short
video on dogs: http://ryangorka.com/311Videos/Dogs/default.html (Watch
the whole thing if you have time, it's really cool.)
