Hi Mike,

From your response, I understand that:
1. The cause of your issue is the Project Workspace template cannot be
found in the new server.
2. When you using SharePoint migration tool to migrate sites, some are
failed due to 0x80070002 errors.


Based on my research, There is not an easy way to grab the template from
the ID.

And one of the causes of the 0x80070002 error is:
The source server from where the SharePoint migration tool was performed,
Project Server 2003 was installed and Project Workspace template was used.
But Project Server 2003 is not installed in the destination server.

Based on the reasons, I suggest you to install the Project Server 2003 in
the new server and retry the migration process.

Moreover, you mentioned the Project Server is no longer used, I wonder if
the sites based on the Project Workspace template are no longer used either.

If so, you could use SharePoint migration tool to migrate the site which
are not based on Project Workspace template, these sites are successful
pass the prescan in your description.

To reduce the lost from these Project Workspace template based sites, I
suggest you to copy the important data to new server manually.
