I am kind of baffled, it doesn't seem to fit any 50's to 60's Chrysler,
Dodge or Pymouth. Maybe a Buick?, but again I can't find a match. Not
Ford, Studebaker, Chevy or Olds.

My best bet is a Chrysler of some type.

Agreed. I believe that is the car.

Sad to think that by 1958 Packard was little more than a neat version
of a Studebaker Lark/Hawk.
