From: Bubey on 22 Jun 2007 21:09 What does this mean ? "An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: Lemon Meringue', Account: 'nn_Earthlink', Server: 'smtpauth.earthlink.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Your message does not conform to RFC2822 standard', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69" I was forwarding on one of the funny e-mails I received. Never used to get an error response but now I seem to be getting this error response more frequently. Help !
From: PA Bear on 22 Jun 2007 21:31 To how many recipients were you forwarding the message? Did you use BCC? If so, did you put your own address in TO field? Is you anti-virus application configured to scan outgoing (and incoming) mail? Also see your thread from about a month ago where you posted the same error: http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress/browse_frm/thread/760b0b3e081e96c3/ec0bc40b9fa177eb -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org Bubey wrote: > What does this mean ? > > "An unknown error has occurred.
