From: Jeffrey Wurtz on 10 Aug 2010 12:19 Two coworkers using MATLAB version 2008 have the function named "FRF". I have the 2009a version and when I type "help frf" I get the following message: "frf not found." Does anyone know what happened to the "frf" function? Can someone please tell me how to get the "frf" function?

Hi Jeffrey, frf is not a Mathworks' function, so your co-workers must have obtained it from somewhere else. There are many ways of obtaining a frequency response (I'm assuming that frf stands for frequency response function) with Mathworks' functions/objects. Do you have the coefficients of a difference equation? How are you defining your system? If the frf code your co-workers have is distributed under an open source license, perhaps they can share it with you. If you want to estimate the frequency response using Mathworks' functions/objects, write back and tell us what toolboxes you have and what kind of system you are attempting to estimate the frequency response of.
